Question of the Week: Who or What is Camellia?

On Thursday, we learned that Kris's album, Thank You Camellia will be released on May 22! As soon as the initial excitement of that announcement wore off, the common reaction was "So, who's Camellia?"

Well, for this week's question of the week we want to hear your ideas. We've heard some interesting speculation so far in our members' chat and online. Is Camellia the name of Zorro's mom? Or maybe a reference to Kris's love of horticulture? I personally wonder if Camellia is the name of his favorite Starbucks barista - hey, I'd dedicate an album to my coffee maker if I could :)  So, let's hear your ideas!

UPDATE!

Well, we got our answer! In an awesome twitter exchange, Kris answered questions about the title. They were supposed to be yes/no questions, but Kris took a few liberties with that rule. The answer to this week's question is: Thank You Camellia is a shoutout to the guys Kris lives with while working in LA. See the full twenty questions below:

And as an added bonus, #ThankYouCamellia trended #1 Worldwide! (with 'Is Camellia' trending at #3!)

I love how #ThankYouCamellia became the #1 WWT without us even trying LOL

Love all these ideas and love the enigmatic title.  My literal understanding of a camellia is the best flowering plant in the world with attractive glossy green leaves and fab flowers: types include Black Magic, Desire and we've got one here in Oz called Margaret Davis after some woman I've never heard of called Margaret Davis but I don't think it's named after her!  Kris seems a pretty eco sensitive Earth Hour type guy so maybe he's saying thanks to a beautiful flower which is doing its job to help the planet!  Or, on the other hand, it has nothing to do with this!  Good fun not knowing.  Rock on Kris.  Little Pawns are doing a great job. x

I have another thought...maybe each of the letters  C A M E L L I A  stand for someone or something he wants to say thank you to .  Can you tell those of us who weren't on the chat- what the other ideas were?

Great ideas! Je - I've noticed him without it a few times recently, but also with it after those times, so I think he still has it.  I saw that there's a chain of hospice centers in the South called Camellia, I wondered if they treated a family member.

I do love the little mystery.  I thought maybe Camellia was a teacher, mentor or someone that inspired him to continue his love of music.  I did notice also, that on the sneak peak of the video that he wasn't wearing the necklace he wore all the time....is this a new development or just the first time I noticed he wasn't wearing it?  Does Camellia have anything to do with the missing necklace?

My first thought was that Camellia had something to do with potty training Zorro.  I like Barb's more civilized idea, though.

My guess is that Camellia is Zorro's mom or the breeder or owner that raised him.
Leave it to Kris to give us a great mystery to solve, lol. No matter what, I think the name
of the album is brilliant & will have lots of people asking, "Who is Camellia?".
