Mission of the Week: Do Something Every Day To Support Kris

In a recent interview, Kris noted: I feel like I see life differently now. I see it as this amazing challenge that I look forward to every day. ... It’s more exciting this way and way more rewarding.

Kris has taken on that responsibility for us - to be the best that he can be - and we'd like to return the favor, so our Mission this week is to challenge yourself to do at least one thing each day to support Kris and his music. It's going to take everyone's active support to get this amazing new music heard, so let's Do It Baby!

As a refresher, and as an introduction to our newest members (welcome!), here are the actions we've been recommending these past few months, pick whichever work for you on any particular day:

Get your birthday entry in!
Request TVOL to your local station
View TVOL on VH1's website
Vote for TVOL on VH1's Top 20 Countdown
Share the music with someone new
Comment on News posts on KAO
Comment/Like/Share Kris's facebook posts
View/Like/Share videos on Kris's official YouTube channel
If you are going to an event, let it be known in the Events section on Kris's website and/or facebook
Like, Share, and/or comment on articles/interviews/reviews (stay positive and focused on Kris)
Thank stations/interviewers for playing/talking about Kris
Follow your regional Little Pawns twitter account and get the latest on your team in the Forum
Add your marker to the Little Pawns map
Change your facebook cover to one offered by RCA or Little Pawns
Wear your Kris gear proudly!
Tweet about doing any of the above to inspire/remind others

Myers, I sent two friends TYC CDs I bought at Target, I donated to Donors Choose- saying that I donated because of a great musician and person's 27th bday and mentioned Kris' name- I tried to put my name on the map- but it didn't work- will try that tomorrow and will do the above all over again tomorrow

Comment by gerry desanto on June 13, 2012 at 4:42pm: I have been trying to tweet somebody different every night to get Kris more promotion. One night I tweeted 19E. Tonight I might tweet RCA promo. His record company needs to know that they need to do more to promote Kris. People do not know what a great CD TYC is. Tweeting magazines and newspapers to do reviews and interviews may also help.

Check into Kris on Get Glue and do so often! He was trending at #3 one night last week. It'd be awesome if that were more constant.
Listen and share him on Spotify/Rdio. Getting him up higher on the charts there will get him more exposure to other users.
Share his official Sound Cloud and YouTube music/videos on Tumblr! Tag the post with things like Kris Allen, Music, MP3, Pop Music, etc. to get more people looking at the post and listening to the music. "The Vision of Love" has gotten a lot of hits that way!

Comment by dy77 on June 12, 2012 at 5:40am: Ah, almost forgot, but another great way to support him is to request him from the nationwide radio shows. This is a great way to request for those of you with more "resistant" radio shows. He's currently on the Rick Dees HAC Countdown.

When you listen to Kris on those, all of that counts for the bean counters counting Kris stats. And when you are on last.fm, also join the Kris Last.fm group and mark yourself as going to his events on there as well! I'm on both and use them frequently, so please hit me up with any questions about them.
