Comment by gerry desanto on June 14, 2012 at 5:57pm Maybe one way of getting others to hear the CD is to let friends share your CD for a few days.
I know it is hard to part with it, but it seems we need a grassroots effort to get this CD heard.
Kris put so much time into it and it is such a great CD, we have to make sure others hear it. I am going to share the acoustic CD with my secretary who expressed interest in Kris.
Comment by gerry desanto on June 11, 2012 at 8:48am I wonder if we can declare Kris's birthday: "National Kris Allen Day" and then tweet this until it trends. Also, can we do press releases to our local radio and TV stations about this?

I like your comment. I wonder if we should do a twitter part just aimed at RCA and 19 E. I twittered 19 last night that Kris needs more promotion. Maybe if a lot of people twittered them they would do something.

Comment by Ginny T on May 31, 2012 at 9:09pm I have a personal trainer that I see 4X/week. He usually endures my endless updates of Kris when we are training, but will still roll his eyes. LOL. It's been a running joke between us that I plan to convert him to be a Kris Allen fan. I even gifted my trainer a TYC CD 2 weeks ago, but he still had not heard it. So, this weekend I said to him that I want to make a deal. I said for every song he listen to on TYC that I would lose 1 lbs within 3 weeks. He asked so 11 songs means 11 lbs. and I said yes. I was so suprised when he text me the next day and said "done" as he had heard the whole TYC. Oh no, now I can't back out because a promise is a prmise and a deal is a deal. LOL :-/. Well can't say he is a total convert, but he did say he liked Out Alive and that is saying alot coming from him. So, today I started my campaign to lose the 11 pounds and I hope I can complete my part of the deal. :-)
Comment by Janet Epstein on May 31, 2012 at 8:56pm My friends's daughter got married 3 years ago and we were working on some wedding details at her house the night of the Idol finale for season 8 . I know her daughter was a Kris fan, but don't think she bought either of the CDs. I mailed TYC to her- I know she will love it if she gives it a chance. (She just celebrated her 3rd anniversary-so I was thinking TYC is a great wedding anniversary present!)
Comment by Janet Epstein on May 31, 2012 at 7:58pm I had a guy give me a quote for some built-in cabinets and had Kris' CD in the bose radio playing in the house. The builder said - wow great sound coming from that radio and I said - yes, that's Kris Allen's new CD. I plan on giving him a copy of the CD when he returns with the damages (quote)..haha (of course - since he seemed to like the music!)
Comment by dy77 on May 31, 2012 at 8:37am I just blast it out my car window. A lot. My commute home takes me by three different high schools at the time they are letting out, so hopefully they can hear a few lyrics and will check it out on you tube.
Comment by Kathy T on May 31, 2012 at 6:42am ToolGirl - I know it's frustrating when the whole world isn't seeing what we all know about Kris and this album. But what we see is only the tip of the iceberg of what is going on behind the scenes. It seems like new appearances and interviews are popping up all the time - promotion is happening. All we can do is keep sharing what we know with the rest of the world - Kris is an incredible artist and he's released a really great album.
Comment by Kathy T on May 31, 2012 at 6:36am Sadly, my crazy week has limited my creativity...however, selfishly I've been wanting to listen to TYC all the time - which means that the neverending stream of coworkers that wander through my office are constantly being subjected to it :) I've also 'just happened to turn it on' while driving in the car with family and friends.
