We don't know about you, but we are soooo ready to have some new music to promote! Being patient is HARD! But while we wait, there are some things we can do to lay the groundwork for that first single off the album.
DO participate in your stations music rating surveys
DO NOT focus exclusively on Kris
DO request songs on your station’s playlist that you like from a variety of artists
DO NOT request songs from Kris that they don’t play
DO interact with your station and DJs on twitter and facebook
DO NOT limit your interaction to only Kris-related topics
DO email/tweet/facebook about the things you hear on the station that you like
While you're at it, start paying attention to your station's habits. How do they introduce new music? (challenges? polls?) When are they likely to play requests? What's the best way to request? Share your info with the rest of your regional team members.

Comment by Marissa on September 4, 2011 at 11:22am One of my stations(Q92.9) used to play LLWD a lot, and then I started requesting AWM. I never heard it, but then I participated in a new music poll, and it had AWM on it. So I sent them an e-mail saying how I like that they take their listeners opinions seriously, not mentioning Kris specifically.
Also, Star 100.7 has a top 8 at 8 poll where you can vote for newer songs, but also make suggestions to add to the list. That station has good interaction on twitter, so I'll probably start paying attention to what they tweet.
I can listen to both of these stations online, so that's also good. :)
Comment by dy77 on September 2, 2011 at 7:55am Just some ideas for Twitter from stuff I've been doing - just got RTed by a local DJ because I tweeted him a question to ask Kelly Clarkson this am (& mentioned I hope I hear her new song). Also complimented a different DJ on his station's earthquake coverage (lol but they did do a good job), and that got RTed.
Basically, I just follow them on Twitter and respond nicely when they've posted something of interest to me. It seems to work better with specific DJs rather than station twitters, but I follow & respond to both.
