Little Pawns Interviews Kris Allen!

Yesterday I had the opportunity to interview Kris as a part of Little Pawns and had a fantastic experience!! Kris was incredibly generous of his time, and I definitely appreciated seeing a glimpse into his life as he prepares to release Thank You Camellia.

By the time I arrived Kris was pretty hungry, having spent the morning doing interviews and signing The Vision of Love promotional material, so we went down to a local West Hollywood cafe for lunch with a colleague from 19 Entertainment. Kris hemmed and hawed a little bit about what to get, but settled on a spinach and goat cheese omelet--apparently the guy loves his goat cheese.

It was great to be able to just sit and chat for a while. I especially loved hearing him talk about seeing Bruce Springsteen in concert and the impact it had on him. We've uploaded the interview in full:

I was able to take a couple pictures--check out our Facebook to see them. Little Pawns also snagged some signed The Vision of Love CDs thanks to Kris, and we're going to give several of them away to fans who have Liked our Facebook page to celebrate reaching 1,000 Likes. We're at 900 and change Likes right now, so make sure to share the page with fellow fans! We'll also give a few away to our Twitter followers when we reach 1500... so tell your friends to follow us!

Thanks again to Kris for throwing us Pawns some serious love yesterday. You're a pretty alright dude.

This was an AWESOME interview and I loved all of the questions about Kris' music and how he likes his house.  These questions were really thought out ahead of time and were ones that a lot of us have been wondering about. The comments that Kris made about the washer/dryer and having their own place brings back memories since my husband and I rented for the first 17 years of our marriage.  The way Kris was describing Bruce Springstein's concert is how I feel about Kris' shows.  It is like he is singing to each of us individually.  Someday, I too would love to sit down and have a meal wth Kris.  I remember the 2 girls that helped him find a place to eat in Nashville and got to eat lunch with him.  I later met those 2 girls in Orlando and they were telling me how fun and unforgettable it was.  Anyway, thank you for a fantastic interview.

Loved this interview.  Kris is so awesome and very pretty LOL.  He was so attentive to the questions and gave heartfelt answers.  Thanks Little Pawns for setting this Q & A session with Kris.  Hope Kris knows that his fans are behind him 100% in whatever he does because he is such a genuine person.  Love Kris and his music  :-)

Great interview - thank you! I love interviews by fans for fans since it assumes the listener knows everything already and can get deeper into the topics. Great questions! Poor Kris was eyeing his food tho! LOL!

Great interview, as a longtime Springsteen hardcore fan, I am so glad Kris went to that show and has met SVZ. There's a lot he can pick up from them and he's got a bit of bb Bruce in him (one of the reasons I <3 Kris).
