Remember that the whole concept of this project is to work together as a team. Get to know the radio stations in your area, and get to know other Kris fans within that area. Help each other promote Kris in any way you can.
Your Regional Team Captain is Yendi Rodriguez. If you have any questions about the promo being done in your region, you can address it to her. General radio promo questions can be addressed to Nick or taks.

However, a lot of stations rely on what Y-100 (the equivalent to NYC's Z100 in our area) plays. So the trick here would be getting it added to y100's rotation. Once they start playing it, im sure most of the surrounding station will as well. :)
I request AWM on Y100 regularly without spamming or being annoying but they haven't played it. :( What do we have to do to get some of the larger market stations to add songs??

Hi Yendi!
Do you know how Y100 typically introduces new songs? Do they have music challenges or a new song hour or something like that? Since Kris isn't (yet) the hit machine that a Lady Gaga or someone is, he may be stuck waiting til his song gets intro'd the standard way. If you know how the stations intro new songs, maybe you can target your requests to that DJ or whoever makes the decisions for that segment?

That's a great chart, Yendi. I'd love a template of it. Maybe it would help to have another column to add the market rank of the station and whether or not they're monitored to make it easier to see which ones might be the best ones to focus on, so long as it's reasonable listening distance from where we're at.
Here's a list of stations that shows stations format, rank, program and music directors, and phone numbers. I'm not entirely sure how up-to-date it is, but I guess it helps:

Some of what I have for Michigan:
96.3 WDVD - HAC - Detroit
They added LLWD fairly early one and played it quite a bit, but never played/added TT. They only auto-add songs. They have a Music Advisory Panel that you can sign up for on their site to rate new music and help them determine what to add. When requesting TT through the contact part of their website, I've only received email back from one dj, who is also their music director, Jesse Addy. He emailed me back once saying TT was a cool song. Another time when I requested TT he said he'd play NoBo in a few minutes- which he did and then said on air how he might be the only person who likes that song. :/
98.7 Amp Radio WDZH - Top 40 - Detroit
Fairly new Top 40 station that played the heck out of LLWD towards the end of its climb up the charts while they were promoting their Amp Live concert with Kris and Boys Like Girls. I've never had too much luck getting through their phone lines and haven't come across anything on their website to request songs at, so I occasionally tweet them. They once tweeted me back saying that they'd play TT, but never did. A few of the times that I've tweeted them about AWM, I included a video of it from their concert that had some truly loud "yeah"s.
95.5 (Channel 955) WKQI - Top 40 - Detroit
Um, I honestly thought this station was too rhythmic leaning to play anything by Kris, but they did apparently add LLWD last February. So I guess it's worth a shot requesting with them.
100.3 WNIC - AC - Detroit
They're AC, so I wouldn't make them priority or anything, but they are the ONLY AC station to have ever added TT, and the only Detroit station that I've ever heard TT played on, so I guess they really like Kris.
