We All Know Kris Deserves a "Shorty" Award!

No pun intended... well, maybe a little bit, LOL.

Down to business: For the past couple of years while twitter was growing in momentum, the “Shorty” awards have been putting on what they call “Awards to honor the best people and organizations on Twitter and social media.” This happens to include the best twitters in music and with the growing popularity of this online award organization including extensive press coverage for the nominees and winners. We'd love to get Kris in the running but we can't do it without your help.

Nominations end at the end of January!!

VOTING:

- To vote, send a tweet like this: I nominate @KrisAllen for a Shorty Award in #music because... (add reason here)
- You can also tweet shorter votes like this: #shortyawards @KrisAllen #music (add quick reason here).
- Be as creative as you want with the reason.
- A tweet that does not give a reason for the nomination will not be counted.
- The nomination must be relevant to the category.
- Only one person and one category per tweet.
- Voting for the same person in the same category more than once just replaces the text of your original vote; it does not count as an additional vote.

Kris has moved up to 14th position in the music category - great work Little Pawns! If you haven't voted yet, please do so... we still have a way to go to get him to number 1. :)

I see a lot of nominations that do not list reasons or list a reason that has nothing to do with the category. Is there a way to make people realize their votes won't be counted if the reason is not given/or not appropriate for the category?

btw, I think nominating Kris in as many categories as we can think of will move him up... Otherwise, the order would be quite different.

Kris is:

5th in #charity

10th in #music

35th in #humor

23rd in #fashion (wut lol)

50th in #entertainment
