Wow - that's great promo!! Nice job, guys! :) What I like most about the fliers is that they advertise Kris as "the guy who sings LLWD" and not as "the 2009 American Idol." Yay!

ia, some people might not even realize LLWD=American Idol and would be more likely to see him. Everyone that would identify American idol with good music knows who Kris is. -

I actually did not get a chance to talk to the owner, as he was busy with Halloween with his kids, but Jennie said she would be calling him at 8:00 when he was available.
This was definitely a great learning experience, and hopefully we can use it for future shows to help others that are interested in doing the same thing. -

This is all so fantastic and this is something I would love to do hopefully when NYC area finally gets a solo show. I just wish we had some people for Oklahoma so we could get some promo out there for the Tulsa show too!
Great work on Valpo! Soooo wish I could be there for this one! And what a great idea putting LLWD on the posters. So many people love that song, but don't realize that it is Kris! -

My daughter Jenna and I are looking forward to having the group in town for the show this weekend. As Nick mentioned yesterday we plastered the neighborhood with KA concert posters like the one attached (if i even attached it??) and have a few more to do. Hopefully we'll have a good turnout at the concert. Of course there's more fun to be had after the show too. As you heard we are working on a fan after party at a local establishment. Franklin House is the oldest pub in the area and the owner has been very receptive to helping us out anyway he can. His goal is to make our visit a success and he would be really happy if Kris or the band was able to attend. He has signs and mini flyers for the show and already has KA on the jukebox like Nick said....the bar owner told me his music was there but Nick and I had to see for ourselves...i think we did a little happy dance when we saw ALL his singles there. So, the details for the afterparty are forthcoming as I am waiting to hear form their promotions manager but it will include some discount for us at the bar. It will also be karaoke night so be ready to sing (sorry have to add this too.............they even have AL on the jukebox). I will post the details after they are finalized with Elle and/or Nick, myself and Franklin House. -

I finally rec'd a response from the UPC dept at VU who is hosting the show. See below, I think we will have to keep the after party on the DL. I am expecting to have flyers form the bar to hand out to concert goers but out of respect for the venue we will have to be discreet about this and obviously they are not going to facilitate our efforts to notify Kris and the band of the party so we will have to slip them a flyer ourselves.

We appreciate all of the energy you are putting in to make this a great show for Kris. We are excited to have him here and think it will be a great time!
For publicity, we are definitely trying to hit up everywhere we can. Thanks for checking that out and helping us promote this show in as many places as possible.
In terms of the after party, we will be unable to encourage him to attend local bars. Because of our dry campus policy and our Lutheran affiliation, we cannot promote stars hanging out with students while drinking alcohol. We hope that you can understand. You are welcome to contact him yourself to ask but we cannot have any 'official' part of his after show choices.
Thanks again for helping to make this a great show. Please let us know if you have any other questions...

Oh, i never dreamed they would ask him to do that. and tbh, I really don't think we can arrange that. We can let him know but I raelly don't think we can promise r even suggest to the owner that we are trying to make that happen for him.
what I planned on doing is handing out flyers for a fan after party at the show. i'm sure we can do that - we just can't ask the school to ask Kris. -
