WOW! I won't be able to come to the Valpo show (boo) but I just read through this thread and want to say that I think that the work you all have done to help promote this show and arrange the get together after is just amazing :D

here are some local eateries near the university and the hotels:
Kelsey's - great steakhouse
Strongbows - upscale turkey dinner
Dynasty - popular Chinese buffet, def room for large group to get around one table
Maria Elena's - great Italian, Mexican and American fare
Wings Etc. - by far best wings in town
Franklin House - after party location also serves sandwiches and bar food
skip Industrial Revolution - they wouldn't display KA concert promo

TGI Fridays
Red Robin
Chilis
Bob Evans
Directions to the AFTER PARTY;
From the Harre Union go West through the campus on UNION ST.
Turn right and go North on VALPARAISO St.
Turn left and go West on INDIANA St.
Continue West - street dead ends at Franklin House
Franklin House is on the west end of downtown Valpo and the university is on the East end. The trip between the two by car will be 5 - 10 minutes

Newbie here :)
Was planning on coming to this show with one of the free tix @artistsupporter gave away yesterday, but I can't get a response from her (on email or on Twitter) beyond her first email telling me I got a ticket. Does anyone know of someone who got tix through her? I'd really love to go, but it's a bit of a drive for me and don't wanna leave without knowing if the ticket will be there.
BTW, y'all rock for getting all this together. Sounds like it'll be a kick-ass time. -

Did she receive your name as well as your email? I'd try contacting her through twitter again, I think that's the best way to contact her. I think any tickets that she's gifting would be at the Valpo Harre Union for pickup with photo ID for the name they were bought for. -

In a burst of nervousness, I bought a ticket. I had already made the plans, and I also live in the dark ages and don't have internet on my phone, so I was nervous about leaving home without a ticket. I'm sure it would've been fine, because she did have my name & email but...Yeah.
Now I feel horrible for using one of her tickets. Know of anyone who still needs one?

Ha, that's OK. I didn't even know you could do that! Yeah, the after party sounds like a lot of fun. I have....light brown hair, black jacket & black boots? lol, I don't know how else to describe myself.
And after I saw there were drink specials, I decided to get a hotel. lol, I was planning on driving back afterwards, but not now :D
