Red Team: Gearing Up For New Music 2012

Helloooooo Red Pawns!

With the upcoming release of Kris’s new single, it’s time for the humble pawn to show its strength. We’re talking promo, of course… and there are many ways you can help.

Pre-Release

1. Check the Radio Station List for your area (click on the appropriate tab for your color at the bottom of the document). We want to make sure this is as up-to-date as it can be. If you see a radio station not listed, a radio station’s website, twitter, or Facebook page that’s not included, please add that information as a comment below.

2. Pick a radio station (or two, or three) and try to find out how they introduce new music. Do they run challenges? Polls? Let us know what you discover in the comments section below.

3. If you haven’t already, try to build a relationship with your favorite radio station. Request songs, comment on their Facebook or reply to a tweet or two. Establish yourself as a listener. For more suggestions on how you can do this, check out LP’s Reconnecting with Radio post.

We will continue updating this post as we get more info on the single, release dates, promo etc. For now, we're setting up our foundation for promo as we update the radio station list, interact with our local stations & analyze how they introduce new music!

There are a couple of Radio Stations missing from Sacramento,CA 100.5 Now Next Music is one. I believe this is affiliated with Last FM also brand new Star 106.5 Kris is on both playlists I have recently started requesting through 106.5 feedback line. Its all I could find for a number listed but its working and they have been playing more of him. Since it is a recorded call, need new voices on the line Number is 916-339-4271 (feedback line) Just say your from Sacramento.. Cant help especially with new music coming out.

Thanks for the heads up Randy! It looks like we do have 100.5 Now Next Music (KZZO-FM) under the Red (HAC) tab, but we don't have this new station, Star 106.5 on the list. I did a quick add to the list, but will fill in more blanks later today or tomorrow :)
