Hey DC Purple -teamers!

I'm not totally sure what this article means, but I take it at least to mean: keep requesting AWM, especially at Hot 99.5 (which is Pop, not HAC)!!

So this is one of our DC stations that I have emailed, texted, & tweeted. Not really sure how to take this whole thing, but at least Toby knows what we want and has acknowledged that he hears us Kris fans. I am sure this wasn't my effort alone. But going forward I think, per Nick's advice, I will lay off 99.5 a bit. Go focus on 107.3 and 106.5. :)

I agree, I would read the article as Toby's message to us (because he does like Kris and us) that the station got the hint, but they need to get through the holiday season first. So for right now, as Nick responded on twitter to Susie and me, maybe best to lay off Hot 99.5 for awhile and focus our efforts on the other two DMV targets - Mix 107.3 and Mix 106.5 - both monitored HAC stations.

I think Toby was kidding about the 20,000. I hope so anyway. He's kind of irreverent like that and I can't believe that web site gets 20,000 votes on anything.

That said - please follow BBLamb2000's advice and continue to vote on the Hot 99.5 poll. (You can vote 1x day per computer). It is a big station for us to get if we can. Toby is on our side, again evidenced by his RTing the music empowers thing, so also be sure to thank him on twitter (@tkradio) for doing that RT.

Just want to say hello to everyone checking out this folder for the first time. I know it's a bit jumbled. Hope to have some time in the upcoming days to organize our info into something like a google document that can stay in one place and be linked and updated as needed. In the meantime, just comb through our folder here for information on contacting local radio stations we are targeting. The main thing is to request Alright with Me from your local station (no more than one time a day per station-we don't want to be annoying, but we do want to be consistent). Any questions - just ask! :)

These folders can be hard to navigate and now that this discussion is many pages, hard to find information within. So I've created a separate folder that just contains the contact info for the Mid-Atlantic radio stations (work in progress). Hope to do the same for the other two regions we cover (NY/NJ and New England).

i am from pa pittsburgh area ive been reguesting kris new single to the stations there every day for a awhile now one emailed and said they dont have the song but will recommend it i still keep on requesting i dont get radio at all i loved the truth they hardley played i kept requesting it and the same with alright with me instead once in a while they will play llywd but i wont give up iam a hugh fan of kris have his cd love all the songs i feel he is so underated so happy i joined love this site

Great - and welcome! Please keep requesting. Believe me, being from DC, I know the pattern with the radio stations and that it's frustrating but it's important if we are to have any hope of hearing AWM on the radio. I'm hopeful based on the blog the DC DJ posted that once we're past the holidays, they will be looking to add some new music, and then all the requesting will pay off.

Also - are there stations you would recommend we add to our spreadsheet from the Pittsburgh area? Right now we have Q92.9 and Star 100.7.
