Purple Team 2011 Check In!
Just want to start new and fresh for all the exciting new music ahead. The purple team is for the following states: VA, MD, WV, DE, PA, NJ, NY, MA, CT, RI, VT, NH, ME.
We're split into some smaller teams for radio work because our team is so big. I'm captain for the MidAtlantic (VA MD WV, DE PA), Julie M is captain for New England (CT, RT, VT, MA, NH, ME) and we are looking for someone who knows NY/NJ radio to step up and help us coordinate the NJ/NY radio efforts.
At this point though, we just want to check in with everyone, find out what area you are from and what radio stations you are listening to these days! So please reply in the comments with that info so we can all get re-aquainted as a team. :D
I'll begin - I'm Dorothy (twitter is @dy7764 and please follow me if you'd like), from Northern VA/DC. I listen to Hot 99.5 (DC) when the younger kid is in the car, Freshfm94.7 (DC) when she is not and B101.5 out of Fredericksburg is the station we can agree on (which, nicely and strangely enough, has just started playing LLWD again). Once in awhile I listen to country music stations too as I love that genre as well.
Looking forward to hearing about everyone on our team! (Or meeting you if I haven't already)

Hi Amanda, nice to meet you! Check out LP's latest mission, all about establishing those relationships! But I feel ya, DC stations were great with LLWD but not so much with the other two.

Hey there! I am Susie (@subeeDC) and live in MD not too far outside of DC. I am a huge Kris fan and actually have met some wonderful people within this group at a concert (or two :D). I have made many other good Kris friends at shows too. LOVE meeting other Kris fans. I listen to Hot 99.5 mostly (until it gets unruly when the kids are around), 94.7FM, and 107.3FM. I try to follow my local DJs and "keep in touch". I am SO ready for new music and to get requests going again.
And I found some new Twitter peeps to follow :D

Hey everybody! I'm the New England captain (@jmatt17 on twitter), great to see folks checking in, lots of radio stations for our lists! I'm in central Maine, and interact now and then with my local djs, but they're a small station so I also interact with Mix 104.1 out of Boston (who adore Kris), 95.6 TIC in CT (I went to their holiday show last year, that Kris played), and even WLAN out of Lancaster, PA (I grew up in PA and they were the sponsor of the intimate little set where Kris and I chatted about Maine, a cherished memory.)
Not a lot happens in Maine, so I've done my fair share of driving to see Kris; all told I've seen him in seven of the states in our region. So I really do feel a connection to all of these places and stations. Looking forward to interacting more, with y'all and with the stations!

Hey Everyone!
I'm Nicole (@nekola) and I live in DC. I listen to primarily R&B stations (WKYS, WPGC and Majic 102.3) but I make the sacrifice like any true Kris fan (ha ha) and listen to the pop station (Hot99.5) and the HAC station (Mix 107.3). I do what I can for the cause.

Hi Nicole, nice to meet you! Those are classic DC stations, I grew up on WPGC when it was the Hot 99.5 of its time and still listen to them all sometimes.

Hi I'm Diane from NJ. Don't know too much about NJ radio- Listen to WPLJ, WPST 94.5 and 94.3 The Point mostly. I requested AWM and PST responded but never played it, lol!

Hey, I'm lexie (lexiewallace) I live in the Falls Church/Arlington area and listen to 107.3 mainly. They usually only play LLWD, but have had Kris on a couple of times and seem to like him. I'm always happy to email/tweet them.
