Little Pawns

It was a great week of celebrating Thank You Camellia and the creativity and hard work Kris poured into it.  Thanks Kris for an amazing album we will treasure (and wear out playing on repeat!).

Appearances

Apple Store - Kris's Q&A and short acoustic set (with full band!) are expected to be posted as a podcast on iTunes this week.  In the meantime, enjoy some great photos from LP member Annie.

Live With Kelly - great TV performance enjoyed by a flailing Kelly and guest host LA Reid, who gave a shout-out to Zorro.  We agree with Kelly's assessment of the album, Kris has never sounded better!

Kris and Cale at one of the release day performances.

Getting silly at Vevo.

Kris ended his exhausting and exciting Tuesday with an album release celebration/mini-concert at The Darby.  Great photos as usual can be found at krisallenmedia

Wednesday brought a morning of interviews (see below) and then a trip across the country to perform at the KIIS FM Idol Finale Party in LA, where Kris also mugged for the camera with KIIS's JoJo Wright (see more photos here).

Back home in Arkansas on Friday, Kris did some radio appearances and an in-store signing at Walmart. Here's a very sweet video recap and the local news report.  Julie Ivy was on hand for all of the Arkansas events, providing beautiful photos as usual!

Then it was back up North on Saturday (seriously, when does this guy sleep?!) for a concert at Tanger Outlet in Ocean City, MD.  Little Pawns was there and reported an enthusiastic crowd and quite lengthy line for the meet and greet following the show.  Here's an official video produced for Tanger of The Vision of Love performance.  First brought out in LA, Kris also played his partial cover of Justin Bieber's Boyfriend, to the delight of the crowd.  Photo below by Emjay.

As he did last year, Kris honored Memorial Day in Washington, DC - this year taking part in theNational Memorial Day Parade.  Thanks to the always stellar @KrisAllenLists for finding this great photo by a parade attendee.

Gorgeous, must-see acoustic video performances were posted by Perez Hilton (You Got A Way) and Rick Dees (The Vision of Love).

Mission Of The Week

Thank you to all of the participants in our Facebook promo contest, folks did a great job getting the word out about new music during release week!  Word of mouth is an important way to grow this album; we see all the time online how folks happen to hear a song or two and instantly fall in love.  This week we're asking you to get creative and have fun finding ways to share Kris's new music with other people.  Tell us what's worked for you, what new ideas you have, or come check out what others have done to give yourself ideas.  This music is too good to not be heard by the masses, let's get out there and make sure they do!

Fresh 102.7 announced that Kris will be performing at their free Fresh In The Park event on August 18th at the Harry Chapin Theater in Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, Long Island.  (See first Fresh interview link above.)

As always, don't just read/view all of the above - like, share, leave positive comments (and ignore negative ones), thank sponsors/interviewers; let them know we're here and we appreciate it!

Phew, an exhausting week in the best way possible, can't wait to see what the coming week brings!
