Little Pawns

Hello Little Pawns!

We interrupt your Olympics viewing to bring you this week's Pawncast!

We're not sure about you, but we can totally relate to Kris on this one.

Check out some of the early submissions here.

Lights

At Kris's StageIt show a few weeks ago, he broke out a cover of Ellie Goulding's Lights. This week he treated us to a "semi-proper" version for our listening pleasure.

Boston Bound

Kris and the guys headed to Boston this weekend for a couple of events. Upon arrival on Saturday, the group spent some time seeing the sights and enjoying some good food.

On Sunday, Kris headed to Fenway Park to enjoy the Red Sox game, perform God Bless America, and entertain fans at the post-game Picnic In The Park event, benefiting Red Sox charities.

Congrats to LP @ameeliu who was attending the game and picked up a little swag in the process!

Kris and the guys got off to a great start in the park, playing to an enthusiastic crowd.

The weather didn't cooperate and a downpour ensued... but that didn't stop them from continuing the show.... on the stairs!

No doubt the Red Sox Foundation was impressed - they included some very kind words in an email sent out this morning to all attendees. Thanks to @ameeliu for sharing!

We would like to extend a special thanks to American Idol winner and RCA Recording Artist Kris Allen who donated his talents to the Red Sox Foundation’s Picnic. What an amazing performer! As the rain came down, Kris generously took his performance inside the Gate B concourse and played an acoustic set under the bleachers! For the more than 200 fans who stayed, it was a marvelous treat! (For those who missed more of his performance, you can find his second release album entitled THANK YOU CAMELLIA )

For more from this event, check out KrisAllenMedia.

On Monday, Kris paid a visit to the Mix 104.1 Morning show where he talked about his time at Fenway, the Olympics, and more.

After the show, Kris joined the Mix team for a little in-studio wiffle ball!

Kris will be hanging out in Boston a little longer, participating in the Berklee City Music Scholarship 20th Anniversary Concert at the Berklee College of Music on Tuesday. Get all the information here, including links for buying tickets or accessing the live stream of the event!

Mission/Question of the Week
This week's MotW is to revisit past Missions of the Week! So many of our past weekly tasks are still great activities to directly or indirectly promote Kris.Check them out!

Have a great week!
