Introduce Yourself Here
Welcome everyone! This is the Official Kris Allen Street Team: Little Pawns. Your Little Pawns Team Leaders are: Kathy T, Emjay Huston, and Julie.
The goals of this Street Team are simple:
- To mobilize Kris Allen fans from all over the US and abroad in order to get the word out about Kris, his music and his amazing talent.
- To organize the fan base in such a way as to promote Kris.
- To broaden Kris's fanbase and get them to his shows.
We welcome anyone who would like to be part of this street team in any capacity. You don't have to make it a full time job, but we're hoping for some sort of commitment. Being part of this street team requires effort and tons of energy and enthusiasm. You have to be willing to call up radio stations and request, utilize social media in order to spread Kris's music, and keep focus as to the goals of the project.
While this may all sound like a lot of work, this is also potential for some fun. Kris fans are some of the funniest and most down-to-earth people we've encountered, and it's exciting to be involved in a project that benefits Kris but can also bring everyone together. So welcome everyone, we hope you all feel at home, and we hope we can all be fast friends!

My name is Amanda and I am from Kris' hometown of Conway,Ar! I have been a fan since his first appearance on Idol. I have been to 3 concerts, including the hometown visit, and I will see him again this weekend. I LOVE the fact that stays in touch with his fans! And how he hasn't changed much since Idol. I have also met him once and he was SWEET!

I love Kris since Idol. Man in the mirror. Good times..:D Love his latest album so much that I streaming it everyday before I got it on my hand.

I'm Brtitney and I have been in love with Kris since American Idol(: I voted for him from my land line, cell phone and mom's cell phone.... I wanted him to win!!! I have never been to any kind of concert or show and I reeeaalllyyy want to go to one for Kris!((: I WILL spread the word about him!

Hi peeps!
I'm Caro and I live in Germany although 50% of me is Irish I'm 22 years old and like to think of myself as a bit of a music geek. I think I'm a good person but I guess you guys will have to find that out as we go along.I'm a fan of Kris a bit over two years now. I started watching some of his American Idol performances after Adam talked about him during promo tour in Germany (Yes, I'm a Glambert. I hope that's okay). It didn't take much for me to fall in love with his personality and when I got the album I listened to that on repeat. So I was a fan from then on but only after TYC I really got dedicated to him because I think he's so underrated. It's such a great album and deserves to be heard by as many people as possible.
I really hope that with joining this community I can maybe help to get him known internationally a bit more. To be honest I haven't figured it all out yet but I am willing to learn =D.

First things first, all Kris fans are welcome here! :) (I am a fellow Glambert myself!) It's great to see new fans getting familiar with his music and wanting to work together and get his name out there.
If you're on Twitter, follow @GrayPawns - they deal with helping promote Kris internationally. You can familiarize yourself with some of the things we do throughout the forum. For example, our Radio Requesting Guide etc.
Also, be sure to follow @LittlePawns for up to date info on all this Kris and great projects to get involved in!

Hey everyone! I'm joining this party late, having only discovered Kris's music much after his first album came out (Me: "Uh, God, he won American Idol? Whatever. What American Idol season did he win? Eight? Yeah, I stopped watching that crappy show like in season 3."). So the past two years has been about playing catch up! And now I'm a huge fan -- maybe a bigger fan today because his live performances and shows are awesome. The people that I've met at his concerts, his other fans, are AWESOME! Who knew that American Idol kid was an actual musician? He can play instruments and sing and write his own songs! Haha! These days, I'm not shy about being a Kris Allen fan. I have a lot of respect for him and find him terribly under appreciated. What I hope for him is that he'll have a long and steady career doing something he obviously loves and I'll keep coming out to his shows and support him. Nice to meet everyone here! I'm pretty sure we've bumped into each other at his shows! :)
