Introduce Yourself Here
Welcome everyone! This is the Official Kris Allen Street Team: Little Pawns. Your Little Pawns Team Leaders are: Kathy T, Emjay Huston, and Julie.
The goals of this Street Team are simple:
- To mobilize Kris Allen fans from all over the US and abroad in order to get the word out about Kris, his music and his amazing talent.
- To organize the fan base in such a way as to promote Kris.
- To broaden Kris's fanbase and get them to his shows.
We welcome anyone who would like to be part of this street team in any capacity. You don't have to make it a full time job, but we're hoping for some sort of commitment. Being part of this street team requires effort and tons of energy and enthusiasm. You have to be willing to call up radio stations and request, utilize social media in order to spread Kris's music, and keep focus as to the goals of the project.
While this may all sound like a lot of work, this is also potential for some fun. Kris fans are some of the funniest and most down-to-earth people we've encountered, and it's exciting to be involved in a project that benefits Kris but can also bring everyone together. So welcome everyone, we hope you all feel at home, and we hope we can all be fast friends!

Hey y'all!
The name is Zieq (@Zieqster in twitter) and I'm from Malaysia. Very few of you might know me from KrisAllenation when the Idol still runnin' but when the site closed down I jumped ship to KrisAllenAddict and made quite number of friends but obviously there's more introduction to come.
The last time when Kris came to Malaysia I actually waited in line for more than 6 hours for his showcase in hoping to get myself his live show ticket because I haven't gotten any after a week try out on the radio station. But at the end of the day, I still wasn't able to get myself a ticket and I brought home disappointment with me. One silver lining from the showcase, I managed to meet him in person, so I'm grateful. As for right now, I'm still keepin' the hope alive for him to come back and watch his live show. Cheers!

Welcome more new people! Awesome to see you. A few house keeping things - remember to keep photos and blogs down to essentials as we don't have the storage space yet! Starr is paying for this out of her own pocket and we don't have the space to store everyones pics and blogs yet!

my name is Hiba from Jordan, I'm a fan of Kris since the Ai tour, I've known him from AI (it aired here in my country) and been following him on the internet, also bought his CD online cause just recently I've seen some copies here at the mall, and the radio don't play his songs :(( although I love to hear him so much.
I hope alright with me will have the success like LLWD, I'll try my best to help promote the single

Hi, I’m Connie from Arkansas. Constance0128 on Twitter (because someone with 11 tweets in 2 ½ years had connie0128). I have been a Kris fan from the beginning. I really began watching AI in season 7 after my children and grandchildren moved away from Arkansas and I just needed to chill out after work. I loved David Cook that season. Always appreciated Kris from the beginning of season 8, although I also recognized the talents of many of the other contestants. I went to the Homecoming in LR, the tour, and the Heifer Barefoot Bash alone but have since met many fans who were there. I contributed to Alright With Moo birthday present for Kris and bought Katie’s B/W dress for my size 2 daughter (a Kris and Katy fan) at the Purple Ribbon auction. With new found Kris fans, went to concerts in Benton and Fayetteville. Recently joined local fans for the renaming of the Kris Allen stage in Conway. Plans to go to the Blackbird benefit in Conway , headliner in Memphis, and the Lifehouse tour date in Springfield. (I have extra tickets if anyone is interested.) I am sure I’ll be meeting lots of new Kris fans (maybe some of you!)
I’ve had some really difficult times in the past few years. Kris and his music have inspired me to come back to the world of the living. I’d forgotten how much joy music can bring to your life. Now I’m purchasing music every payday. Recommendations from Kris and the band, from fans, seeing new groups on television, listening to new things online – I’m more aware of music everywhere now. Just bought the Lifehouse Smoke and Mirrors CD and was surprised at how many of the songs I recognized.
Like everyone here, I want AWM to explode. I hope it surpasses LLWD's success. I have no doubt that Kris will be around for years. On a side note, my very first concert was Kris’ idol Paul McCartney – when he was with a little group called the Beatles (Memphis, 1966).

Well I'm Mary aka MerryMary05 on Twitter and I've pretty much been a Kris fan since the beginning. I happened to notice Kris' audition because he came right after Felicia Barton (who I was excited about because she's from Virginia Beach like me). I loved Kris in White Chocolate and he just kept winning me over more and more after each performance. I'm ashamed to say I've never seen Kris live because he scorns VA Beach and I'm a poor graduate student who can't afford to travel to the other shows. But I think I've pretty much watched every performance video to date and that'll have to do until he FINALLY comes here. I'm excited about this street team!

Hey guys my name is Mikaela Bell and this website amazing! I follow Fourteen Plums on Twitter- definitely keeps me updated with the latest Kris news! Now I just have to get used to using Little Pawns! I found out about your site through Andy Davis (Founder of Music Empowers). I was just at the show last night in DC and actually got to meet Kris, Andrew, and Cale, outside their tour bus..it was pretty cool! We were just walking back from getting a bite to eat and right there they were! It's awesome everything you do in not only supporting Kris, but also supporting everything he believes in as well!

hi, my name is nicole...and i live in ontario,canada. I have been a fan of Kris since his days on Idol..I have only seen him once..but luckily enough it was at a headlining gig in grand rapids..and it was amazing...closer than I thought I would be at one of his concerts..even got one of the picks that he threw into the crowd. one of the best nights of my life!..hopefully he will come to Canada in the near future.

Oh hey - I'm Beth. Beth Terranova. It's not like I'm ashamed of my name or anything, but I'm "newland21" all over the webisphere, and I like to keep it consistent. ;)
I'm one of those folks who like Kris and Adam equally - they fill totally different musical niches in my world - and I don't enjoy the rival fandoms thing (and don't understand why folks can't get past the "competition" - it was so long ago!) But while I'm a member of a pretty good Adam community, I had not been able to find a Kris "home". I had been feeling fairly alone in my Kris-dom. :(
Fortunately I ran into some great Kris peeps in line at the Borgata this summer (one of whom actually lives quite close to me - who knew!) and made some twitter hook-ups and spent some time with them this weekend in AC/DC (heh!) ... and got directed here! I'm kinda new to the "street team" thing, but I sure want to do my part to promote Kris...
(segue back to Kris) At first I barely noticed Kris on AI. The first time he got my attention a little was Country Week w/"To Make You Feel My Love", but what really made me take notice was "Falling Slowly". After that I was a total fan.
One thing I really love about Kris is how when he performs he is one with his music - he just goes into a different world with it. For me, he sings with his heart and soul as well as his voice.
I have been fortunate enough to meet Kris twice - once on the AI tour (M&G) and then just this past weekend (random run-into!) I've also had "real conversations" with Chris Torres (once) and Cale (twice) - apparently I inspired Cale to try horseback riding for the first time, which gives me the biggest kick!
Pictures is what I like to do - I experience concerts through a camera lens! I'm no pro (nor is my camera!) but I love getting great shots and sharing them with other fans. It's a big thrill for me when someone actually comments on a photo how much they like it! It really makes the concert worth it for me. I've seem some of my Kris pix as avis, and that always gets me smiling. :)
I started to write more, but I think that's really enough rambling.
I'll just add that I'm happy to be here. :)

Hi, I am Sarah. I'm from Indiana. I've been a fan of Kris since last December. I didn't watch Idol season 8 at all. I happened to come across a post on him on Just Jared and was curious so researched his music and loved . I came to love him more through seeing interviews and following him on Twitter. Thanks to those who have put this site together. <3
