so how are we doing, spins wise?

Requesting AWM is fun. If your station doesn't have it yet, tell them they can play LLWD in exchange.

I do that, that way they know I will still listen ;)

Just a thought.

My Mix station is hijacked by the holiday....so I called my top 40. They didn't have the song (SHOCK) but you know, a request is a request. *sigh*

AWM got another spin on the Chicago Mix Affiliate! If you live in the area, tweet or text or email them a thanks!

I called my Mix affiliate today and requested :)

OH MY GOD AFTER MONTHS OF WRITING IT IN YOU CAN FINALLY REQUEST "ALRIGHT WITH ME" ON RADIO NOW MILWAUKEE'S ONLINE REQUEST FORM WHICH MEANS THEY HAVE IT IN ROTATION OH HELL YES YOU BETTER ALL REQUEST IT A MILLION TIMES SO I CAN HEAR THE DULCET KRIS ALLEN TONES ON A DAILY BASIS.

I have happy-ish news to report! I was on my to Chicago and was fumbling around look for a radio station when I ran over a station that was playing AWM! I shrieked, clapped my hands, and all sorts of things I probably shouldn't have done while driving, but anyway, it was on the radio! YAY! I stuck on the station and waited for the station ID/phone number and they're located in Flora, IL. They're Hot AC, but unfortunately, they're not monitored. I called in when I got the phone number and thanked them for playing AWM. The DJ said he really likes the song and has been sneaking it in when he can. I told him to keep up the good work. :D
That is great. I was just replying in another thread that this one station in VA had upped playing the Truth and LLWD, and I think it's b/c we did request AWM so persistently. Anyway, good job Green team!
The Chicago HAC station allows the listeners to chose the playlist during weeknights from 8P.M. until 12M: http://www.wtmx.com/UMixIt.php
Has anyone else been trying this thing? I noticed that AWM was about to be played, right after a commercial break. Then suddenly he was gone, and now he's at the bottom of the whole list, and doesn't even move up when new songs are added. Maybe someone should call and find out what's going on?
A bunch of us are voting and it's very strange, Kris gets to #1 and then he's gone. I know someone in Chicago texted the station and krinjalists tweeted them.
Yeah, I've seen that happen at least twice now. He's at #1, then he's gone off the whole list and I have to re-add him (and he stays stuck at the bottom). Maybe a phone call would be more effective - since it's easy to ignore our texts or tweets... ?

Well, Chicago's HAC station (WTMX) has this U Mix It thing from 8pm to midnight every night, but once again, AWM was listed as on top of the playlist with the most votes, up until about 30 seconds before it'd actually get played, at which point it disappeared all together from the playlist and didn't return. I know people were having issues with this yesterday too. Something is clearly either a) completely messed up in their system or b) not actually being decided by votes. Either way, should WTMX be notified that it's really not cool to have a "you decide the music!" gimmick not actually reflect what people want to hear (or to find out what's wrong with the system and get them to play AWM "manually")?

ETA: This has now happened twice in 25 minutes, each time about 30 seconds before the song was about to be played...
