For starters sake, we decided that all international Kris fans would be part of their own team. While this team's progress will not be tracked directly aside the other teams, it will be included in the weekly recaps with celebrations for reaching certain milestones.

The local stations most likely to play AWM are the following:
Magic 89.9 (http://www.magic899.fm/) - Best known as the station which gave us that hilarious Boy's Night Out Kris Interview. Or if you've been in AI8 fandom for long, this was the station that streamed the AT40 ahead of most US stations, so the _AI listening party for the Adam/Kris guest DJ appearance used their stream (leading to much hilarity).
Anyway, they love Kris. A LOT. LLWD, BWCU and TT (!!!) went to #1 on this station. It should be easy to get them to play AWM.
RX 93.1 (http://www.rx931.com/charts/charts.html) - Basically the rival of Magic. I think BWCU also went to #1 here. They just basically follow what Magic does, to be honest.

In Malaysia there are 2 really dominant English stations, which are hitz.fm and FlyFM. I'll write about hitz.fm first. Psst - They were the station who played Kris songs all day long and announced Feb 8 as Kris Allen Day and then due to some technical error, played LLWD 10 times in a row. I appreciated that technical error.

Their DJs are quite responsive though, so their twitter handles are:
1. JJ - @jjhitz - 1 part of the popular Morning Crew. He and his partner Ean were hosts when Kris was in Malaysia. Their show on the radio doesn't take song requests, but JJ does read/reply tweets, so it could come in handy sometimes. For example, the day Kris announced about AWM, it so happened JJ tweeted asking for misheard lyrics. I took this opportunity to tweet him, "I'm a little punk, stealing your gay". He thought that was hilarious and asked whose song that was, and I told him quite casually, "It's from Kris Allen's latest single Alright With Me". :D I would post JJ's partner twitter handle but he doesn't seem to respond much to music stuff so ummm, moving on.
2. Natalie - @nataliehitz - Her show is called Drive Thru, from 4pm - 8pm. I'm not sure if she takes song requests throughout her segment but I've seen people send her song requests via twitter. She's really nice and she blogged about my "I ate 14 durians" sign when Kris was here lol.
I'll post other DJs' twitter handles once I've "studied" them.

I don't get the vibe that they love Kris, and I could be wrong, of course, but in case it's unfortunately true, let's try and change that.

Nahhh...thats so awesome!!! I listen to radio quiet a lot so I think hitz fm and mix fm plays Kris Allen song more frequently than the other radio station. (especially 'Alright With Me'. I think they play it almost 4 times in 2 hour) I'll be more than to willing to request it soon. So glad to be in this Gray Team !!! :DD

Other Malaysian English radio stations:
1. Mix FM - I'd say they have a more mature audience, and they play songs from every era, but they still play ~modern songs a lot. I know they love them some Archie and Jason Castro, too, so Kris should be right up their alley.

Like FlyFM, they take song requests at night too. DJ Roshan is probably one of the nicest/sweetest DJs I know. I called the station to request for TT and he was very apologetic when he said he's not allowed to play an artist more than once within an hour (I didn't know they had spinned a Kris song before I called), but that he'd call me back the next night. He didn't call me but they did play Kris, and then on some random night he called so that I could finally make my song request. And they twitter response is better than hitz.fm and FlyFM, in my opinion.
2. Capital FM - This is quite a new station, but their song choices are A+ and they do play Kris quite a lot so that makes them A+++ in my book. I've never called in or contacted them in any way so I can't give a testimonial, and I honestly don't know their shows at all, but their contact details are:

3. TraXXfm - This is a government radio, and gov radio/TV stations don't exactly have a good reputation among youths mainly because their image is dated, but this English station surprises me from time to time in a very good way. They play mainstream music but they also play songs that aren't exactly mainstream but very good, so it's refreshing. The only thing I could find of them is their website and on thah, their listing of programmes.
